Assist. Prof. Ileana Peride, MD, PhD, at Clinical Department No. 3, "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Bucharest, Romania. Since 2007, she has been a part of this Department (Nephrology), specialized in Nephrology and Internal Medicine. She is the local responsible of the Specialization Program for Nurses in the field of Nephrology and Dialysis from "St. John" Emergency Clinical Hospital, Bucharest, where Assist. Prof. Ileana Peride is also conducting her medical activity. Over the years, she has been involved in different national and international studies, and published numerous articles and books in journals and publishing houses with international visibility. Her research interests include the immune profile of renal impairment (acute and chronic), nutrition of chronic kidney disease patients, management and therapy of kidney diseases etc.
