Diogo A. Ferreira-Filipe, MsC in Biotechnology (University of Aveiro, 2021) is currently a PhD student in Biotechnology, researching biobased solutions for the sustainable bioprocessing of e-waste, with the Centre for Environmental and Marine Studies (CESAM) and University of Aveiro's Department of Chemistry. Research interests include the use of microorganisms for industrial applications, and effects and fate of pollutants (such as microplastics and e-waste) in the environment.
