Corrado Schenone is a Full Professor at the University of Genoa. He served as a visiting professor at the Istanbul Technical University in 2010, and later at the Al Manar University of Tripoli in Lebanon in 2017. In the academic years 2019/20 and 2020/21, he held the position of professor of Applied Acoustics at the City University of Tripoli. Since November 1987, he has conducted research at the "Department of Mechanical Engineering" (DIME) at the University of Genoa. Initially, his work focused on heat transfer, particularly on boiling phenomena. However, his research interests have shifted towards addressing environmental energy and noise pollution. Currently, he is dedicated to research in energy sustainability and noise control in urban areas. His research activities have resulted in the publication of 145 scientific papers, with 95 of them presented at international conferences or published in books and journals. Corrado Schenone is also a co-author of two Italian patents. He is a member of various scientific associations and serves on several editorial committees. Additionally, he has led several European projects.
