Prof. Hongyun Liu received B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Science from Beijing Normal University in 2000 and 2005. From 2005 to 2008, she was a Lecturer in the School of Chemistry at Beijing Normal University. From 2008 to 2010, she was a Visiting Research Assistant Professor at the University of Connecticut (USA). Since July 2008, she has been an Associate Professor. Her research interests mainly focus on biomolecular logic gates and biocomputing, electrochemical biosensors, and electrochemical detection and biosensing of DNA damage.
