Biography
Prof. Dr. Manuel Lopes obtained his Master's Degree in Nursing Sciences in 1998 from Universidade Católica Portuguesa and received his Ph.D. in Nursing Sciences in 2005 from the University of Porto, Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences. He is currently a Full Professor at the São João de Deus School of Nursing of the University of Évora. His research keywords include aging, functionality, health policies and care models, mental health, and mental health nursing.
