Passionate in translating regenerative medicine from bench to bed-side, and back-translating applied technologies to deepen the mechanistic understanding behind their therapeutic potential. Currently focusing on identifying responders and non-responders to clinical therapy, and investigations in animal models of cardiovascular disease, utilizing both molecular imaging (PET/CT and MRI) to assess physiological changes, as well as classical molecular methods to investigate the reason for such changes to occur.
