Huahao Fan is currently a professor at the College of Life Science and Technology, Beijing University of Chemical Technology. He received his Ph.D. degree from Peking University. He used to be a joint Ph.D. student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a postdoctoral fellow at the Tsinghua University. He is mainly engaged in bacteriophage, coronavirus and enterovirus drug screening, and virus-host interaction mechanisms research of emerging infectious diseases.
