Assoc. Professor Ing. Miroslava Ťavodová, PhD. (b. 1973) studied at the Faculty of Wood Sciences and Technology (4 years) and at the Faculty of Environmental and Manufacturing Technologies (1 year) at the Technical University, Zvolen (1997). She had practical training for 4 years, and she received her doctorate (PhD) in the field of wood processing technology in 2009. She received the title of assistant professor (Doc.) at University J.E. Purkyňe in Ústí nad Labem in the field of engineering technology (2019). At present, she is the deputy head of the Department of Manufacturing Technologies and Quality Management, Faculty of Technology, Technical University, Zvolen. She is focused on a comprehensive approach to increasing the lifetime of tools for processing wood mass in the forest and for the primary processing of wood processing.
