Dr. Ana J. Cañas-Lerma has a degree in Social Work and a University Master's Degree in Teaching Training from the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB). She has a Master's in Narrative Therapy and Community Work from the University of Extremadura and is a University expert in equal opportunities and gender. She has a Ph.D in Education from UIB. She has been a lecturer in the area of Social Work and Social Services at UIB since 2017. Her line of research is compassion satisfaction/compassion fatigue in volunteering and social work with groups.
