Luigino Filice is a full professor of Manufacturing Technologies at the University of Calabria, where he leads the Manufacturing research team. He received a PhD in Production Engineering from the University of Palermo in 2000. In 2007, he was awarded by Esaform association for outstanding contributions in material forming. Luigino Filice's research is focused on innovation in manufacturing processes for industrial and biomedical applications, considering effectiveness and sustainability. Luigino Filice teaches Open Innovation, is member of the PhD faculty in Industrial and Civil Engineering, and served as vice president of the University of Calabria up to 2019.
