I work at the Coastal Group of the University of Trieste, where I deal in coastal geomorphology, morphodynamics and sedimentology. Our scientific topics are: - Inventory and management of coastal dunes. - Geomorphology, wind transport and sedimentary budget of transgressive coastal dune systems. - Evolution of coastal systems (beaches, lagoons, saltmarshes) at different time scales, sediment budget and adaptation to sea level rise. - Morphodynamics and sedimentology of tidal inlets. - Short and long term coastal vulnerability scenarios.
