Andrea Cortegiani, MD, is an Associate Professor at the University of Palermo and a Consultant in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at University Hospital Policlinico Paolo Giaccone, Palermo, Italy. He is the current Chair of the Scientific Committee of Italian Society of Anaesthesia, Analgesia and Intensive Care (SIAARTI).
