My core academic interest lies in ​discovering and characterizing bioactive monomeric compounds from natural sources—particularly TCM-derived materials—as targeted therapies for AR-associated pathologies. I am particularly fascinated by three disease areas where AR dysregulation plays a pivotal role: ​prostate cancer​ (a leading malignancy linked to AR overactivation), ​androgenetic alopecia​ (where AR signaling drives follicular miniaturization), and ​neurodegenerative diseases​ (an emerging frontier where AR crosstalk with neuroinflammatory pathways is being explored). For me, these are not just clinical challenges but opportunities to bridge ancient wisdom with modern pharmacology.
