Anna Schulte studied Environmental Engineering and Resource Management, earning a Bachelor degree, as well as a Master's degree in Mechanical Engenieering focusing on energy and process engineering from the Ruhr-Universität Bochum in Germany. During her studies and since graduating in 2019, she has been working as a research assistant and PhD candidate in the Sustainability Assessment Department at Fraunhofer UMSICHT in Oberhausen. Her work is focused on circular plastics economy research. The aim is to develop an assessment methodology that monitors and assesses the transformation towards circular plastic products and business models from a sustainable perspective.
