I received the master degree in Environmental Engineering at University of Florence with a dissertation entitled “Project for the beaches defence at the mouth of the river Cecina”. In 2013 I got the PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering at University of Florence with a thesis about the wave energy harvesting in the Mediterranean Sea. During the PhD program I was a visiting scholar at the Istituto Superiore Técnico in Lisbon. From 2013 to 2016 I got a postdoc research fellow about the study of wave energy converter technology with numerical model and physical experiments in the DICeA-UNIFI wave current-flume. From 2018 to march 2020 I got a research fellow at the Institute for Biometeorology of CNR and since march 2020 I has a position as researcher at LaMMA Consortium. My major expertise is in coastal defences, wave energy assessment, numerical modelling of coastal processes, bathing water pollutions, wave hindcast.
