Bojana Ivošević is focused on utilizing Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) for efficient monitoring of croplands, freshwater bodies, and diverse terrains. She holds a Ph.D. in Ecology from the Faculty of Science, University of Novi Sad, Serbia. Her research centers on the application of UAS in precision agriculture, particularly for calculating vegetation indices critical for crop yield estimation, disease detection, and crop management. Additionally, she is engaged in using UAVs for land cover classification, animal detection and counting, algae bloom monitoring, forest ecosystem applications, and assessing seasonal effects on ecosystems.
