Prof. Dr. Kinga Borowicz-Reutt graduated from the Medical University of Lublin in 1992. In 1994, she obtained her PhD degree, and, in 2004, she became a professor of medicine. Presently, she is the Head of the Independent Unit of Experimental Neuropathophysiology at the Medical University of Lublin. Clinical specializations: internal medicine, diabetology, and esthetic medicine. Her main interests lie in the interaction between anti-epileptic drugs and potential antiseizure substances in animal models of experimental epilepsy, new approaches in antidiabetic therapy, and the anti-aging mechanisms of action of different agents. From 2010 to 2014, she was an alternative member of the European Medicine Agency.
