Yukui Rui is a Professor of Environmental Science at the College of Resources and Environmental Sciences, China Agricultural University, where he has been involved in teaching and research since 2003. He received his M.A. degree in Applied Physics in 2000 and his Ph.D. degree in Crop Cultivation and Geoponics in 2003 from the China Agricultural University. In 2014, he was a Visiting Scholar at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where he worked on nanomaterials-plant interactions. Currently, he is teaching Environmental Chemistry and Ecotoxicology. Along with students and colleagues, he has published more than 200 manuscripts including research papers, review papers, and book chapters in his field. His current research includes the environmental impact of engineered nanomaterials and the agricultural application of nanomaterials.
