Marjan van den Akker is a professor of Polypharmacy and Health Services Research at the Institute of General Practice of Goethe University, Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Her research focus is on multimorbidity and polypharmacy in primary care, applying both epidemiological and qualitative methods.
