Victoria Cruz-Balladares, Magister in Biomedical Sciences, mention in applied microbiology (obtaining the degree in 2018), biochemistry by profession. Both titles were obtained from the Universidad de Antofagasta. She is currently a researcher at the Centro de Bioinnovación Antofagasta (CBIA) of the Universidad de Antofagasta. She has experience in molecular biology and marine microbiology, bacteria and microalgae cultures, mass cultures and the extraction of bioactive compounds for biotechnological applications.
