Jeremy Gray, BSc, MSc, PhD, Emeritus Professor, has research interests in ticks and tick-borne diseases. He worked for more than 30 years as a lecturer in parasitology and zoonotic diseases at University College Dublin, Ireland, and has published extensively, particularly on the tick Ixodes ricinus and on the tick-borne diseases babesiosis and Lyme borreliosis. He retired from his university post in 2008 but continues to work in the field of ticks and tick-borne diseases as an associate editor and reviewer.
