M. Radecka received her Ph.D. and habilitation degree in chemistry from the AGH University of Science and Technology, Kraków, Poland, in 1993 and 2004, respectively. She is currently a full professor of chemistry at the Faculty of Materials Science and Ceramics, AGH University of Science and Metallurgy in Krakow, Poland. Her research interests include the development of semiconducting gas sensors and photoelectrochemical cells, experimental studies of the electrical and structural properties of ceramic oxides and thin films as well as the electron transport mechanisms in oxide semiconductors. Her research works tend to understand the correlation between the defect structure of crystals and the physico-chemical properties of nonstoichiometric compounds.
