Prof. Xinrong Liu graduated from Chongqing University. He is a second-level professor, doctoral supervisor at Chongqing University. He is currently the executive deputy director of the National and Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Reservoir Area Environmental Geological Hazard Prevention and Control, a member of the Chongqing Association for Science and Technology, an executive director of the Chinese Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering, the chairman of the Chongqing Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering, and the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Underground Space and Engineering. He is mainly engaged in teaching and research in the fields of geotechnical engineering disaster mechanism and prevention technology, tunnel and underground engineering stability, and urban underground space development and utilization.
