My research interests concern the design, management, and use of workspaces, collaborative work practices, and the digitalization of the real estate sector. As an architect by education, I completed my PhD research at Politecnico di Milano collaborating with four international corporations to create a framework of Key Performance Indicators for workplace design, management, and optimal use. Since the PhD completion cum summa laude in 2018, I have been working as a postdoctoral researcher in the Real Estate Center at Politecnico di Milano, where I am involved in two EU funded projects: one COST Action addressing the impacts of new working spaces on cities and peripheries, and one ERASMUS+ Partnership addressing innovative approaches in workplace management education. I collaborate with the Department of Design and Environmental Analysis at Cornell University (Ithaca, NY), with regular short term visits that support both research and educational projects. I coordinate the Italian PropTech Network, the Italian PropTech Monitor and the research project of the Joint Research Center PropTech founded at Fondazione Politecnico di Milano.
