Prof. Daniele Passarella is the Full Professor of Organic Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry, University of Milan. He obtained a degree in chemistry and a Ph.D. from the University of Milan in 1986
and 1991, respectively. In 1993, he was appointed a researcher by the “Department of Chemistry” (University of Milan). In 2006, he became an Associate Professor of Organic Chemistry at the University of Milan. He has been a Full Professor of Organic Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry, University of Milan, since 2020. He was the Italian Coordinator for MAECI Italia-India Strategic Projects 2017–2019. He was the Chair of COST Action CM 0602 Inhibitors of Angiogenesis: Design, Synthesis and Biological Exploitation from 2007 to 2011. And from 2012 to 2016, he was the Chair of Cost Action CM 1106: Chemical Approaches to Targeting Drug Resistance in Cancer Stem Cells. His teaching fields include organic chemistry, organic synthesis, and natural product chemistry. His research topics include organic and bioorganic chemistry.
