Guoqing Zhou (senior member, IEEE) received his PhD from Wuhan University, Wuhan, China, in 1994.
He was a researcher in the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China and a post-doctoral researcher in the Institute of Information Science, Beijing Jiaotong University, Beijing, China. He continued his research as an Alexander von Humboldt Fellow with the Technical University of Berlin, Berlin, Germany from 1996 to 1998 and was a post-doctoral researcher with Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, USA from 1998 to 2000. He was an assistant professor, an associate professor, and a full professor with Old Dominion University, Norfolk, VA, USA in 2000, 2005, and 2010, respectively. He has authored 10 books, seven book chapters, and published 560 peer-reviewed papers with more than 256 journal articles.
