Fang Chen is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the College of Food Science and Nutritional Engineering, China Agricultural University. She completed her PhD studies in Agricultural Products Processing and Storage Engineering at the China Agricultural University in 2003. She is the deputy director of the Key Laboratory of Fruit and Vegetable Processing of the Ministry of Agriculture, the secretary-general of the National Strategic Alliance of Fruit and Vegetable Processing Industry Innovation, a member of the China Green Food Expert Advisory Committee, and a member of the editorial boards of Food Additives and Contaminants: Part A and Journal of Food Quality and Safety Inspection. Her interests mainly include fruit and vegetable nutrition and disease intervention; food processing safety control; and fruit and vegetable processing technology.
