About Me
Luís Belo completed a PhD in Biochemistry in 2003 and a
Habilitation in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Biochemistry) in 2019 at the
University of Porto (Faculty of Pharmacy), and a Master in Medicine in 2014 at
the University of Porto (Faculty of Medicine). He is an Assistant Professor
with Habilitation at the University of Porto (Faculty of Pharmacy), Researcher
at REQUIMTE—Unidade de Ciências Biomoleculares Aplicadas (UCIBIO), and medical
doctor in dialysis units. His main areas of investigation are obesity and chronic
kidney disease.
