Maria Teresa Ribeiro Pereira is currently a full time associate professor and Coordinator of the CIDEM, the research center of mechanical engineering. She is a subdirector of the master's course in Mechanical Engineering—Industrial Management branch—and of the master’s course in Industrial Engineering and Management of ISEP. She holds a Production Management Engineering degree from Minho University, a master’s degree in Information Management from Sheffield University and a PhD. In Operational Management from Minho University. She worked in industry for 8 years and has 30 years’ teaching experience, being Professor of Operational Research and having taught Decision Support models, Operations Research, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation in several courses at IPP. She has supervised/is currently supervising more than 70 masters’ theses. She is the coordinator of the KA 588409-EPP-1-2017-PT-EPPKA2-KA project and has participated in several research projects, as well as national and international projects with companies, which resulted in several publications/communications. She has reviewed several scientific papers for international journals (orcid.org/0000-0003-4556-9578).
