Prof. Woo Kyun Kim is a full Professor at the Department of Poultry Science, University of Georgia. His educational experience includes receiving a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from Konkuk University; a Master's degree in Poultry Science from Penn State University; and a Ph.D. degree in Nutritional Science from Penn State University. His research experience includes being a Postdoctoral Researcher in Poultry Science at Texas A&M University. His research focuses on continued investigations into feed additives on gut health and enteric diseases (coccidiosis, necrotic enteritis, and pathogens); the identification of antibiotics alternatives in poultry; the effect of mineral nutrition on bone health and egg quality in poultry; and the effect of amino acids on performance, nutrient utilization, and meat/egg production in poultry.
