Research Area: Tea plant genetics and breeding; Tea Biotechnology; Department: Tea Research Institute, Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences My work is focusing on tea plant (Camellia sinensis) germplasm resource evaluation, genetics and breeding, specifically including: (1) breeding of excellent black tea new varieties; (2) identification of specific functional tea plants; (3) tea plant functional genomics and metabonomics.
