I received my Ph.D. in immunology from the Institute of Experimental Medicine in St.Petersburg, Russia. I participated in a joint program with Fox Chase Cancer Center (Philadelphia, USA) where I performed most of my Ph.D research in the laboratory of Dr. Campbell. The main interest of Dr. Campbell's lab is the biology of human NK cells in cancer. I studied phenotypic changes of NK cells in multiple myeloma patients at different disease stages, as well as effect of monoclonal antibodies on NK cell cytotoxicity. The main goal of my project were identifications of new therapeutic targets on NK cells and NK cell biomarkers to predict disease progression.
