Dr. Christos Kordulis is a professor of Catalysis in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Patras. He is also a collaborating faculty member at the Institute of Chemical Engineering Sciences (ICE-HT/FORTH), as well as a tutor at the Hellenic Open University for the M.Sc. program entitled “Environmental Catalysis for Pollution Abatement and Clean Energy Production.”
Dr. Christos Kordulis obtained his diploma (Chemistry) in 1980 and his Ph.D. (Catalysis) in 1985 from the University of Patras. He worked as a research fellow for one year at the Université Catholique de Louvain, Groupe de Physico-Chimie Minérale et de Catalyse (Louvain la Neuve, Belgium). He obtained a Certificate of Post Graduate Studies in Open and Distance Learning (1999) from the Hellenic Open University.
Dr. Christos Kordulis' research interests are focused on heterogeneous catalysis, interfacial chemistry, catalyst preparation, surface characterization, oil upgrading, bio-fuels, and environmental catalysis (see www.researcherid.com/rid/F-7982-2010 or https://orcid.org/0000-0002-4259-8624).
Dr. Christos Kordulis has supervised 10 Ph.D. theses and more than 40 M.Sc.-awarded studies.
