Prof. Dr. Colin Fidge is a professor of computer science at Queensland University of Technology. He completed his Ph.D. at the Australian National University. He previously conducted research at the University of Queensland and for Telstra’s Research Labs. He has been teaching and conducting research in information technology for 40 years and serves as a level 3 supervisor in QUT’s College of Mentors for higher-degree research student supervision. He has been awarded 17 Australian Research Council grants and has led nine research projects for the industry and the Australian Department of Defence. His research interests include high-integrity software engineering; the modeling and analysis of complex, computer-based systems; and enterprise system re-engineering.
