Thomas Tenkate is an Associate Professor and Director at the School of Occupational and Public Health, Toronto Metropolitan University, Canada. He completed his DrPH studies in industrial hygiene at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He has worked in environmental and occupational health for over 30 years, including 10 years in government, and has been actively involved in a number of professional associations. His research interests are on occupational exposure and risk assessment, with a focus on occupational sun exposure and chemical safety management.
