Kehui Ouyang is the Director of the Southern Grassland Research Institute and a Professor at the College of Animal Science and Technology, both at Jiangxi Agricultural University. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the College of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine in 1995 and her Master’s degree from the College of Animal Science and Technology in 2001, both from Jiangxi Agricultural University. In 2006, she received her Ph.D. from the College of Animal Science and Technology at China Agricultural University. She has also served as a visiting scholar at Mississippi State University and the University of Missouri. Currently, she is the chief expert of the Jiangxi Provincial Cattle and Sheep Industry Technology System, deputy leader of the cattle, sheep, and rabbit genetic resource survey professional group under the Jiangxi Provincial Third National Livestock and Poultry Genetic Resources Census Technical Expert Group, a member of the expert guidance group for the Jiangxi Provincial Three-Year Action Plan on “Combating Prohibited Products, Controlling Drug Residues, and Promoting Improvement” for Edible Agricultural Products and a member of the expert group for the Jiangxi “Southern Modern Grassland Animal Husbandry Promotion Action Project”.
