Song Weiguo, Ph.D., research fellow, director of the Institute of Agricultural Product Quality Standards and Testing Technology at the Shanghai Academy of Agricultural Sciences, academic leader of environmental pollutant evaluation at the institute's origin, and visiting scholar at the University of California at Riverside (UCR), He has presided over various national natural fund projects, youth fund projects, national key research and development projects and tasks, and Shanghai key agricultural development projects with science and technology. He has won the third prize of the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, the second prize of the China Shennong Award, and the third prize of the Institute for Scientific and Technological Progress, as well as four licenses or patents; developed nine national or industry standards; and published a total of 35 scientific and technical papers in domestic and foreign journals and magazines such as Food Chemistry, Chemosphere, Ecotoxicology, Environmental Safety, and the Journal of Food Science and Pesticide Science.
