Dr. Horia Andrei received his M.Sc. in Control Systems and Computer Sciences in 1979 and his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in 1996 from the Politehnica University of Bucharest-UPB, Romania (RO). From 1982 to 2002, he was with the Electrotechnics Department of UPB, where he worked as an assistant, lecturer, and Associate Professor. Since 2002, he has been a Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Valahia University of Targoviste, RO. His research activities include electrical circuits, data acquisition and processing, power system and power quality, renewable energy, and numerical methods in electrical engineering. Dr. Andrei is an IEEE - SM and he served as a reviewer for several ISI Journals.
