Ray M. Merrill is a professor of Biostatistics and Epidemiology in the Department of Public Health at Brigham Young University. He has a PhD in Applied Statistics from Arizona State University, an MS in Economics from Brigham Young University, and an MPH in Quantitative Methods from Harvard. His primary research interest is in chronic disease epidemiology. He is the author of more than 300 peer-reviewed research articles and ten textbooks. He is a Fellow of the American College of Epidemiology and the American Academy of Health Behavior. He is a member of the American College of Epidemiology, Society for Epidemiologic Research, and the American Academy of Health Behavior.
