Maria Quarto is an associate professor of applied physics at the University of Naples Federico II. She is the Director of the School of Specialization in Medical Physics, School of Medicine and Surgery, University of Naples Federico II. She is also the scientist responsible for the Radioactivity laboratory Lab.RAD-CeSMA, University of Naples Federico II. Her research activity concerns medical physics and environmental radioactivity. She is the author of over 70 publications in international journals and 100 presentations at national and international conferences.
