Dr. Maria Titova is the Head of the Experimental Biotechnological Facility at the K.A.Timiryazev Institute of Plant Physiology (IPPRAS), Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, Russia. She studied polymer chemistry and technology at the Moscow State Academy of Fine Chemical Technology in 1992–1998; later (2013) she completed her PhD in Plant Physiology, Biochemistry, and Biotechnology at IPPRAS. Dr. Titova has published over 50 research and review papers; her research interests include Secondary Metabolites, Biotechnology, Agricultural Biotechnology, Bioreactor Design, Bioreactors, Phytochemicals, Plant Tissue Culture, Food and nutrition, Food Biotechnology, and Natural polymers.
