Raffaele Falsaperla is an associate professor of Pediatrics at Ferrara University and the past Director of the Pediatric Unit at the San Marco Hospital in Catania. His education background includes a medical degree and specialization at Catania University, then a Ph.D. in Pediatric Science. He has had a Pediatrics Research Fellowship in Neuropathology at TUFTS University, New England Medical Center, Boston (USA). He is involved in epilepsy diagnoses and care, with a focus during infant age and on a ketogenic diet as an antiseizure treatment. He is the past President of the Italian Society of Pediatric Neurology (SINP).
