Prof. Yongen Lu received the B.Sc. degree of Agronomy from Huazhong Agricultural University, in July 1997, and the M.Sc. degree of Agronomy from Huazhong Agricultural University, in July 2000. He is PhD and Associate Professor at Department of Horticulture, Huazhong Agricultural University. His research interests mainly focus on Cloning and functional identification of genes related to tomato fruit flavor quality, and research on efficient nitrogen nutrient utilization in tomatoes.
