Prof. Guiyun Xu is a Professor at the College of Animal Science and Technology, China Agricultural University. She received her Master’s degree from Beijing Agricultural University. From September 1987 to December 1999, she worked in the former Beijing Animal Husbandry Bureau (Beijing Breeding Poultry Company, Beijing No. 2 Breeding Chicken Farm) as a breeder of laying hens. In addition, she has participated in the National High-Tech Research Program (863)—Molecular Cell Engineering Breeding Technology Innovation and Breeding of New Lines with Advantageous Traits for Laying Hens. She focuses on poultry breeding, breeding management and quality testing.
