Yingjie Xu is Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Northwestern Polytechnical University since 2016. He received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Université de Technologie de Belfort-Montbéliard, France. His research interests include the process modeling and mechanics of polymeric composites. Prof. Xu has published more than 70 Journal papers. He has served as editor members and guest editors of several international journals, such as Chinese Journal of Aeronautics, Polymers. He is organizers of several international conference sessions, including the World Congress on Computational Mechanics (WCCM, 2016, 2018, 2020) and World Congress on Composite Structures (ICCS, 2021).
