Dr Carlos Mascaraque-Ramírez is an associate professor in the Department of Naval Technology at the Technical University of Cartagena (UPCT). He completed his PhD in Industrial Technologies at the university and was awarded the Extraordinary Doctorate Award in 2018. He leads the Naval Technology R&D Group at the UPCT and has published several papers in various journals. He is also an associate editor of the Ships and Offshore Journal. He teaches Shipbuilding, Model-Based Systems Engineering, and Naval Propulsion Systems, and his research interests include Shipbuilding, Ship Design, Project Management, and Corporate Social Responsibility.
