Besides having completed my Master thesis with distinction, I have been developing my research skills, namely through a research fellowship within the microbiology, genetics, cellular and molecular biology areas in IBB-Técnico Lisboa till September 2019. More recently, I was accepted for the INOV Contacto international internship 2020 to develop a research project in the Queen Mary University of London. This internship was followed by a role as research technician to continue the work related to hair follicle stem cells and epithelial regeneration. My interest in regenerative medicine led to my PhD start in January 2021 with an FCT Portuguese prestigious funding award.
