Sumbal Malik is currently pursuing a PhD at the College of Information Technology, UAE University (UAEU). Her research interests encompass a wide range of topics, including vehicle autonomy, collaborative autonomous driving, transportation, coalitional game theory, machine learning, and information retrieval. Sumbal has authored over 20 articles in reputable journals and conferences, demonstrating her commitment to advancing knowledge in her field. She has also co-authored a publication in a top 1% journal titled ACM Computing Surveys. Prior to joining UAEU, Sumbal earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Gujrat, Pakistan, where she was awarded a Gold Medal for her outstanding performance. During her master's studies, she specialized in natural language processing and biomedical information retrieval for clinicians in healthcare settings, honing her expertise in these domains.
