Irina Iuliana Costache, Head of Cardiology Department I, PhD, MD, is a Professor of Internal Medicine and Cardiology at "Grigore T. Popa" University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Iasi, Romania, with extensive clinical and teaching experience. She is also a coordinator of a postgraduate course focused on cardiovascular diseases, an author of numerous textbooks for students and doctors articles in journals with a high IF, and a journal editor.
