Ahmed Ragab is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemistry at King Khalid University (KKU), having obtained his PhD and M.Sc. degrees from the University of Mansoura in Egypt. His PhD research was focused on chemical compounds, the chemical construction whereof is suitable for use in pharmaceuticals, designed based on the internal interaction of chemical bonds between compounds. The resulting compounds were verified using chemical analysis devices, such as infrared, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and X-ray devices. Research interests lie, broadly speaking, within analytical chemistry applied to interesting biological and pharmaceutical questions, applications of nanotechnology in chemical engineering, crystal engineering. and analytical applications of vibrational spectroscopy and the synthesis of nanoparticles that have been manufactured with silver nanoparticles and zinc oxide nanoparticles using different methods, shapes, and sizes.
